PH co-ops championing GAD mainstreaming get recognized in 5th National GAD Summit

CHAMPIONS of MAINSTREAMING GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD) in the Philippine cooperative movement!
Primary cooperatives:
Tagum Cooperative (Davao del Norte)
Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Lamac MPC) (Cebu)
St. Martin of Tours Credit and Development Cooperative (SMTCDC) (Bulacan)
Sta. Cruz Savings and Development Cooperative (SACDECO) (Ilocos Sur)
Cooperative federation:
MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center (Mindanao)
May the excellent and passionate GAD efforts of these primary cooperatives and cooperative federation throughout the years, as witnessed by the Gender Equality Resource Center (GERC) Inc., inspire even more cooperators to take on and even strengthen their own transformative and transformational GAD journey that greatly helps cooperatives and their members of all genders and ages achieve and enjoy the benefits of socioeconomic development.
The above-mentioned organizations received from GERC their plaques of recognition as GAD mainstreaming champions during the “5th National Summit on Gender and Development (GAD) in Cooperatives” held on March 4-6, 2024 in the Vigan Convention Center, Vigan City, Philippines. The Summit was organized by the GERC, in partnership with Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC).
The five co-op organizations also served as resource speakers during the Summit on the topic "Accelerating GAD Mainstreaming Gains and Initiatives in Co-ops Throughout the Years."
